Surrounded by water and in close proximity to the Gulf Stream, Hatteras Island emanates a life rich in fish culture. Some islanders fish for a living, some islanders fish for fun, some islanders sell fish in their restaurants and some islanders prepare bountiful fish-rich meals for their families. One thing is for sure, the various Hatteras Island fisheries have an impact on those who are blessed to call this place their home and we love sharing them with our friends and neighbors. While the docks are always abuzz with fishing action, sharing with you is exactly what we aim to do. Been a Weird Week of Weather and Blow, matter of fact a Front is approaching us as I type and will drop the Temps into the High 50's Tonight.  With those Temps we know it will be a N Wind, most Likely a NE Wind.  But the Boats managed to get out Scattered and here are their Catches and Citations...

But man the Wahoo Bite Continues with Wahoo up to 80 Pounds Being Docked.  Still Some Mahi around.  But Weather and Sea Conditions have kept most of our OffShore Fleet at the Docks.  

The Inshore Fleet on the other hand has been Goin almost everyday and CATCHIN DRUM and Drum of All Sizes...
