Happy Memorial Day

Happy Memorial Day Folks! May we all remember those who selflessly have given their lives for each and every one of us in the Great Land!

What another beautiful day yesterday! The wind flipped around overnight from SW to NE and the fishing was just a little bit slower.

There were some Cobia caught yesterday, but it was a little challenging with the cloud cover for sightcasting.  There have been Red Drum around the inlet, so the guys always have a fallback plan.  I've also heard of the Speckled Trout fishing picking up back in the sound.  There's been plenty of Bluefish and Spanish around, I also heard of a couple of smaller Kings nearshore a couple days ago.

Offshore it sounded like the wind scattered the grass out, which always makes it challenging.  The guys were able to bring some nice catches in.  The Dolphin fishing wasn't as good as the day before, but I did see some nice Yellowfin Tunas thrown on the dock as well as a couple Wahoos.  There was some good bottom fishing too with the Triggerfish.

We have a few boat that have left already and a few waiting...Our Channel situation for the big boats is DIRE!!! NC needs to get to dredging so everyone can be safe and make some money!

Have A GREAT Day!
