Some islanders fish for a living, some islanders fish for fun, some islanders sell fish in their restaurants and some islanders prepare bountiful fish-rich meals for their families. One thing is for sure, the various Hatteras Island fisheries have an impact on those who are blessed to call this place their home and we love sharing them with our friends and neighbors. The dolphin weren't as careless today, but there are always a few suckers! A big thanks to Mark, Jason, James and Dallas for a great time aboard the Sea Angel II!

We had a great day dolphin fishing with Richard, Clayton, Chuck and Uncle Si! They sure were biting!

Charles Knott and family had a good afternoon catching Spanish Mackerel aboard the Sea Angel II after getting blown out for an off-shore trip.

OffShore:

Dolphin of the Gaffer Size and Pretty Good Numbers, a Few AJ's a Wahoo a Few Sails and a White One.. Nice Mixed Batch..  

 

InShore/NearShore:...

Matt, Hana, Chris and Glynn had a good trip catching big dolphin!

OffShore:

Dolphin,  BlackFins and Some Huge Triggers approaching 8 pounds.....

 

Inshore:

Blues, Spanish and a Few Cobia and Flounder....

Captain Bruce said "The weatherman threw us a curveball, but we went anyway. Kudos to the crew!" 

With a good amount of rain and some wind, it looks it was worth the nice catch of tuna! 

Todd Justin and friends had a great catch of tuna, plus a nice sized mahi mahi as we wrapped up another great month on the Sea Angel II this weekend!
