Surrounded by water and in close proximity to the Gulf Stream, Hatteras Island emanates a life rich in fish culture. Some islanders fish for a living, some islanders fish for fun, some islanders sell fish in their restaurants and some islanders prepare bountiful fish-rich meals for their families. One thing is for sure, the various Hatteras Island fisheries have an impact on those who are blessed to call this place their home and we love sharing them with our friends and neighbors. Seas and Wind were against each other yesterday but Fish were caught, and Folks were happy.  I do not Know if they were as happy as Chase from Tarboro who was wearing out the PinFish on the Docks.  He was gonna use them to go Beach Fishing last night.  I will let you know how he did.

Good Overall Dolphin Fishing as of late with Bulls, Gaffers and there have even been some Bailing Going on.  Sails are Around and the Beach Produced another Citation Pompano.  Big Spanish and Cobia on the Inshore Boats.  Pretty Weather and Just another Day in Paradise.

And What a weekend it was.  If it Swam it was Caught, Multiple Times.  From Blue Marlins to Pompano, we have the Pictures and the Citations along with Major Mikes Granddaughter Loving the Sea Bean and Scotch Bonnet he  sent her.  Get your reading Glasses cause here they come!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ...
